The Sacramento Area Quality Association (SAQA) was established in 1997 as an association of professionals that is concerned about software quality.

We are a QAI Federation Chapter. Our chapter's focus is on Information exchange, Presentation by practitioners, CSTE/CSQA certification maintenance of skills, QAI sponsored educational programs, Networking, Consolidation of ideas on a website to share resources.

Our purpose is to increase the awareness and practice of quality principles in private and public organizations by supporting the quality initiatives of our members.

The general membership meetings provide a forum for the exchange of potential solutions to software quality problems.

Most of our members have received professional accreditation and are currently leading quality initiatives in private and public organizations.
