Sacramento Area Quality Association

Our Mission

To increase the awareness and practice of quality principles and techniques in private and public organizations by supporting the quality initiatives of our members.

Organization Profile

SAQA is a growing association of information systems professionals who are concerned about software quality, and who work in the Greater Sacramento area.  Founded in 1997, SAQA can help you increase your knowledge of quality management principles and techniques, expand your network of quality professionals, and provide recognition for your professional accomplishments.

SAQA provides a forum for the exchange of potential solutions to software quality problems.  Many of the members have received professional certifications and are currently leading quality initiatives in private and public Sacramento area organizations.

SAQA contributes to your professional growth by facilitating the free exchange of techniques and methods on how to promote and implement quality principles and techniques.

SAQA is an affiliated chapter of the Federation of Quality Assurance Associations administered by the Quality Assurance Institute [QAI], Orlando, Florida.    
 

To accomplish our mission, SAQA:

Keeps members informed of current trends in the quality movement.
Disseminates information on available services and resources for implementing quality programs.
Promotes quality-related education and training to help expand the knowledge and skills of our professionals.
Provides training for the membership to properly educate and train other professionals.
Encourage professional development through active participation in association programs and activities.
